Pengaruh Penambahan Kaca Film Pada Permukaan Panel Surya Dengan Variasi Tingkat Kegelapan 0 % Dan 20%
Abstract
Indonesia is a tropical country located in Southeast Asia and has many areas
crossed by the equator. The use of solar panels as a renewable energy source has
many advantages, such as being environmentally friendly, abundantly available,
never running out, and can be used for free. However, in the use of solar panels
there are still some problems that need to be studied, such as the effect of installing
window film on temperature, power, and efficiency produced by solar panels. The
purpose of this thesis is to explain the results and discussion of research on the
effect of installing window film on temperature, power, and efficiency of solar
panels. The research method used in this document is an experimental research
method. The results showed that the installation of 0% window film on solar panels
produces higher power compared to panels without treatment and installation of
20% window film. However, the installation of 20% window film experienced a
decrease in power. In addition, this document also includes graphs and tables of
research data on certain dates. The lowest temperature is found in solar panels
with 20% window film with a temperature decrease of 3.39%. The highest power is
produced by solar panels without film with a percentage increase in power of
12.96%. The highest efficiency is produced by solar panels without film with an
efficiency difference of 2.3%. Data collection is carried out at a certain time and
the light intensity is at least 2000 lux.
