Analisis Risiko Kecelakaan Kerja pada Pembuatan Kapal Kayu di Puger Menggunakan Metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Abstract
Every work area always has potential dangers and work risks that can endanger the safety and health of workers. Work accidents are unexpected workplace events that can cause losses, both for the company and the workers. The wooden ship repair shop in Puger is one of the industries in the wooden construction sector in Jember which has the potential for significant work accidents. Safety standards and procedures have been implemented, but in practice, there are still potential dangers that hurt both workers and the company. Work accident risk analysis aims to identify potential hazards, followed by risk ranking and control using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. The result is a Risk Priority Number (RPN), which is obtained by multiplying Severity x Occurrence x Detection. The research results obtained 36 potential hazards. After conducting a risk analysis, 18
potential hazards were found which were classified as "low risk", 15 potential hazards which were classified as "medium risk", and 3 potential hazards which were classified as "high risk". The results of this research led to the implementation of risk control measures using a risk control hierarchy. From these steps, it can be concluded that work in the Puger wooden ship workshop still requires supervision and follow-up on good risk management.
