Perbedaan Model Self Directed Learning dan Discovery Learning Berbantuan Media Focusky Terhadap Historical Analysis dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Mata Pelajaran Sejarah
Abstract
The independent curriculum answers challenges that are oriented towards 4C skills. The main concept in independent learning is thinking. By applying high-level thinking processes, it can encourage students to have historical analysis skills and help students achieve optimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in historical analysis abilities and learning outcomes of students who were taught with the Self Directed Learning model assisted by Focusky media and students who were taught using the Discovery Learning model assisted by Focusky media. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest design, nonequivalent multiple-group design. The sample used was 65 students, namely class X4 and class X9 at SMAN 1 Bangorejo. Data collection methods used are documentation and tests. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in historical analysis abilities and learning outcomes of students who were taught with the Self Directed Learning model assisted by Focusky media and students who were taught using the Discovery Learning model assisted by Focusky media. The difference in the average value of historical analysis ability obtained is 2.733 and the learning outcomes are 3.059 positive values which indicate that the experimental class 1 which was taught using the Self Directed Learning model assisted by focusky media was better than the experimental class 2 which was taught using the Discovery Learning model assisted by focusky media.
