Abstract
Madiun is one of the areas that has many teak wood furniture industries. The existence of many furniture industries causes the accumulation of teak wood waste left over from furniture production. This happens because the furniture industry will utilize teak wood with a large size so that there will be many pieces of wood left wasted and unused, so information about wood waste processing is very important and can be adapted. There is one concept of processing waste into useful goods that concept is known as the concept of zero waste. Zero waste is a waste management concept that applies the 3R principle. One of the areas in Madiun Regency that has implemented the zero waste concept is Omah Kinarya. Omah Kinarya is able to reprocess wasted teak wood waste into a craft product of economic value. The existence of the home industry in the Madiun area is expected to be a best practice for other areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the variety of products produced from teak wood waste at Omah Craft Kinarya, to determine the production process of crafts derived from teak wood waste, to determine the economic value of products made from teak wood waste, and to produce a catalog used as a validated craft promotion media. The type of research used is exploratory descriptive research with purposive area method sampling technique and purposive sampling technique for sampling with certain considerations. The results showed that there are many handicraft products that can be produced from teak wood waste and these handicraft products have high economic value, besides producing a validated and feasible catalog.
