Peningkatan Kualitas Taman Blambangan Sebagai Ruang Terbuka Publik di Banyuwangi

Abstract

Public space is a place that can accommodate community activities. Public space is used as a city space that can be easily accessed by the public. Blambangan Park is one of the public spaces in the urban area of Banyuwangi Regency. Based on existing conditions, Blambangan Park has several facilities such as sports facilities, trade facilities, public toilets, worship facilities, trash cans, seats, signage, outdoor lighting systems, and pedestrian paths. This study aims to identify the quality of Blambangan Park as a public open space. The data collection method was carried out by distributing research questionnaires to 96 respondents. The analysis technique used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results showed that the quality of Blambangan Park as a public open space was low with a suitability rate value of 82.91%. Indicators such as parking, pedestrians, and prayer rooms are indicators that have a high level of importance but their performance has not met the expectations of park users. To improve the quality of Blambangan Park as a public open space, directions are formulated based on quadrant one (top priority) of the science matrix using triangulation analysis
