Implementasi Bahan Ajar Fisika Berbasis Permainan Tradisional Egrang Materi Gaya Gesek untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa
Abstract
The learning material entitled "Physics Textbook: Theory and Application of
Egrang Traditional Games" is a book that integrates force of friction topic with
Egrang traditional games. That physics learning material was written by Rumiati
(2021) then validated by experts. However, in century, the textbook has never been
implemented for students yet. This study aims to analyze the increase of students'
critical thinking skills in understanding the friction force through the
implementation of physics textbook based on Egrang traditional games and its
effectiveness. The research method used descriptive quantitative with the data being
collected through pretest and posttest, interview and documentation. There were 36
respondents in SMA Negeri 4 Jember. The results showed that students' critical
thinking skills increased with a medium category on average with an N - Gain (%)
64.91. The implementation of this textbook to improve students' critical thinking
skills is effective with medium category. Expectation from this study is to improve
students' critical thinking skills on friction force topic through the implementation
of physics learning material based on Egrang traditional games.
