Hubungan Posisi Ergonomi Petani Padi dengan Nyeri Punggung Bawah pada Kelompok Tani Margo Rukun Wotgalih Yosowilangun
Abstract
One of the most common farmer problems is related to ergonomics. Poor ergonomics in farming activities, workers often complain of low back pain. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between rice farmer’s ergonomic position and low back pain. This method used quantitative research with an analytical observational approach design and cross-sectional approach. The research population used were rice farmers in the Margo Rukun Farmer Group, Wotgalih Village, Yosowilangun Lumajang. The sample used total control techniques with 86 respondents. The results of univariate analysis of farmers' moderate risk ergonomic position 47 respondents (54.7%) and low back pain had farmers medium experienced category of 44 respondents (51,2%). The Spearman-rank correlation test shows that the ρ-value of 0.000 or which means there is a relationship between ergonomic positions and low back pain. The correlation coefficient value is 0.646, it can be said that there is a strong correlation. The results indicate the need for health education related to ergonomics and low back pain for farmers so that farmer productivity is more optimal and optimizes the role of community nurses and occupational health and safety.
