Gambaran Resiliensi Mahasiswa Tingkat Awal Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Jember dalam Menghadapi Pembelajaran Daring selama Masa Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
Resilience is an important thing to apply in a brave learning period during the COVID-
19 pandemic, especially for first year students who are needed to face a period of
adjustment in the first year both academically, psychologically and socially. The
purpose of this study was to describe the resilience of first year students in facing bold
learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Faculty of Nursing,University of
Jember. This research was a descriptive study involving 127 first-year students of the
regular line of 2021 at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Jember, selected through
simple random sampling technique. The collection used a resilience questionnaire on
the Academic Resilience Scale (Indonesian version of ARS). The collection used a

The results show that 127 respondents have an average resilience score in the good
category. The three indicators of academic resilience, namely behavioral response
indicators (Perseverance), cognitive response indicators (Reflecting and adaptive help-
seeking) and emotional indicators (Negative affect and emotional response) are overall
in the good category. Based on this, it can be concluded that first year students of the
Faculty of Nursing at the University of Jember have good resilience in dealing with
online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. So that first year students are expected
to be able to maintain their resilience in order to create optimal adaptability in the
future.
