    Abstract
    The main components of an electric power system do not escape the three components covering the generating system, transmission network and distribution system. These three components do not escape the need for a security or institution that handles or oversees the flow of electrical energy in an area. PT PLN Persero itself is a state-owned enterprise that oversees and oversees the distribution of electrical energy from the process of generating electricity to distributing electricity to consumers throughout Indonesia. which certainly requires a large enough source of electrical energy supply. So that a research on the reliability of the 20 KV medium voltage distribution system network is focused on at PT PLN UP3 West Surabaya which has one of the feeders, namely the An Nur feeder. This study discusses the reliability of the 20 KV medium voltage distribution system network by comparison with SPLN 59 of 1985. The method used is the Reliability Index Assessment method where supporting data is needed in the research obtained from PT PLN UP3 West Surabaya including data on An Nur feeder number of subscribers , power capacity, as well as the single line diagram so that in data processing it is hoped that the output reliability index of the distribution system SAIDI, SAIFI, CAIDI will be obtained. Then based on the single line diagram of the An Nur feeder, a simulation will be modeled on ETAP 12.6.0. The results of this study for the reliability value of the conventional calculation system obtained a SAIFI value of 0.062798 disturbances/year, SAIDI with a value of 0.188395 hours/year, and CAIDI of 3 disturbances/hour/year.
