Gambaran Penangananan Cepat Medis dan Kesehatan Masyarakat Covid-19 di Puskesmas Bangsalsari Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) is a pandemic that started in early 2020 in Indonesia. Prevention and control of a pandemic requires comprehensive and structured efforts, both promotive and preventive health services at public health centers. The spearhead of health services during a pandemic is at primary health services/public health centers in terms of health promotion, early detection, referral, and self-quarantine monitoring. Method : This study uses a descriptive phenomenological approach to find phenomena and explore the meaning and significance of public health efforts in handling COVID-19 at the Bangsalsari Public Health Center, Jember Regency. The data analysis process in this study uses Colaizzi's steps and gets data saturation on the second participant. Result: 6 main topics were obtained, namely: communication strategy, information, education for the COVID-19 pandemic, testing efforts for finding suspected cases of COVID-19, testing efforts for finding confirmed cases of COVID-19, health services at public health centers, management of covid-19 health quarantine, protocol for burial of bodies with COVID-19. Conclusion: Adequate public health and individual health efforts are needed by prioritizing tracing, treatment, testing and isolation as well as communication approaches according to the culture and beliefs of the community also need to be improved.
