Gambaran Tingkat Kebersihan Perorangan Petani Palawija Kecamatan Gumukmas Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Gumukmas is a potential village based on agricultural commodities in Jember, mainly in producing secondary crops including corn, soybeans, sweet potatoes and coconut. Agriculture is the occupational sector most at risk to health related to personal hygiene problems caused by environmental exposure. The purpose of this research is to purify the personal hygiene of Palawija Farmers, Gumukmas District, Jember Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method for the sampling technique. The number of samples are 155 farmers as respondents who are actively managing agricultural land. The analysis technique in this study uses Univariate Analysis with a frequency distribution. The results showed that sufficient skin hygiene was 73.5%. The Hair Hygiene Indicator is categorized as sufficient, 85.8%. Furthermore, based on the Dental and Oral Hygiene Indicator, it was stated that 80.6% was sufficient. As well as the last indicator, namely the cleanliness of the hands, feet and nails of Gumukmas farmers, which was stated to be sufficient, at 85.2%. So that from the overall Personal Hygiene of Palawija Farmers, Gumukmas District, Jember Regency, it shows that out of 155 respondents categorizing the level of personal hygiene as sufficient with a frequency of 132 respondents (85.2%). There are several factors that influence the implementation of personal hygiene of each individual such as work environment factors and habits in maintaining their respective personal hygiene
