Pengembangan Sensor Gas Aroma Kopi Dari Material Polimer Konduktif Polianilin, Polipirol, Dan Graphene Oxide Berdasarkan Variasi Komposisi
Abstract
Conductive polymers are materials used for a variety of purposes, including chemical sensor active compounds. The conductive polymers currently being developed are polyaniline and polypyrrole. The advantage of conductive polymers is that they have a high conductivity. By definition, a conductive polymer is a polymer filled with a conductive material such as activated carbon such as graphene oxide. The formation of conductive polymers by adding graphene oxide materials to the polymer matrix can improve the characteristics of the resulting conductive polymer materials. The optimum combination of PANi/PPy composition uses a ratio of 1:4 or equal to the weight of 0.004 g PANi and 0.016 g PPy. These results were obtained from secondary data from the coffee sensor research team. The optimum PANi/PPy composition was then added with a GO composition of 0.1 ; 0.2 ; 0.4 ; and 0.5 g. This research aims to develop sensors for the analysis of other gases, as well as further study of sensors based on conductive polymers. The conductive polymer material used was obtained by synthetic chemical polymerization method which was then analyzed using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. This study studied several parameters, namely conductivity, sensitivity, repeatability, and reproducibility values. Based on the results of the study, based on the optimum PANi/PPy/GO coffee aroma gas sensor response in terms of the conductivity value there is a decrease, the sensor repeatability value has a greater %RSD value, and sensor reproducibility produces a %RSD value of more than 5%
