Analisis Faktor- Faktor Psikososial yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Pemantauan Kadar Glukosa Darah pada Penderita Diabetes Tipe 2 di Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Background Individual disobedience in monitoring blood glucose levels can be
influenced by psychosocial factors. These factors have an important role in
optimizing behavior in monitoring blood glucose levels. Purpose The aim of this
study is to analyse the psychosocial factors that influence the behaviour of blood
glucose monitoring in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Jember. Methods
This study used 6 questionnaire instruments consisting of SKILDS, The Coping
Scale, DDS, HDFSS, the nurse's role perception questionnaire and the SMBG
questionnaire with 138 research samples calculated using an application called
Gpower. Result The results of the multiple linear regression test state that
simultaneously, there is an influence of psychosocial factors on the behavior of
monitoring blood glucose levels (p value = 0.000) and partially there are three
influential variables, namely coping (p value = 0.039), perceptions of family
support ( p value = 0.016) and the perception of nurse support (p value = 0.020).
Conclusion Nurses provide the information, motivation and support to people
with type 2 diabetes mellitus to be obedient in taking treatment, especially in
monitoring blood glucose levels.
