Analisis Faktor-Faktor Psikososial yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Pengobatan pada Penderita Dibates Melitus Tipe 2 di Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus treatment can be triggered by many
factors. One of them is psychosocial factor. There are 5 psychosocial factors that
contribute to influencing treatment behavior, namely knowledge, coping, distress,
perception of family support, and perception of nurse support. The study aims to
analyze psychosocial factors that can influence treatment behavior in patients
with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Jember Regency. The study used quantitative
methods with an analytical observational approach and the number of
respondents was 138 people. The sampling technique used was multistage random
sampling. The instruments used in this study were the SKILLDS questionnaire,
The Coping Scale, DDS, HDFSS, Questionnaire on the perception of the nurse's
role in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus and MMAS. The results of the
study relating psychosocial factors to treatment behavior had a value (p value =
0.000) and the Adjusted R Square value is 43,9%, this means that there is a
statistically significant effect. Partially there are two variables of psychosocial
factors that influence treatment behavior, namely knowledge and coping.
Psychosocial factors become one of the determinants of improving the quality of
life and increasing awareness of health. Therefore, it is necessary to educate the
public who are expected to have an awareness of health and control distress in
people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
