Studi Literature Review Perawatan Diri dan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Jantung Koroner
Abstract
Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is a heart disease mainly due to narrowing of the coronary arteries due to atherosclerosis, spasm, or a combination of both. CHD has an impact on various aspects of life, such as the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects, which can also have an impact on the patient's quality of life. Inadequate patient self-care management also increases the impact and affects the quality of life. The purpose of this literature study is to describe the characteristics of CHD patients' self-care, quality of life, self-care relationship, and CHD quality of life. The research design used in this study is a traditional literature review. The selection of articles uses four stages based on the PRISMA flowchart diagram and JBI-critical appraisal, with article search databases (PubMed, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Google Scholar). The inclusion criteria used were the publication of 2016–2022 articles and full-text articles. The results of this study found 12 articles to be analyzed with related topics that show the relationship between self- care and quality of life as well as self-care management interventions that can be applied to a person with CHD. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship related to self-care and quality of life in coronary heart patients, and there are 6 recommendations for self-care behavior interventions that are applied to provide improvements in quality of life, health levels, self-efficacy, lifestyle patterns, decreased psychological impact, and reduction in risk factors.
