Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat pada Petani di Desa Tenggir Kecamatan Panji Kabupaten Situbondo
Abstract
Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a part of behavior that based on individual
awareness to share experiences about behavior and participate in realizing health by
action as agents of change in community activities to be able to improve the quality of
health behavior. Based on the Situbondo District Health Profile (2020) it was found that
12,595 households from 48,261 carried out PHBS of 26.10% and were included in the
poor category. The aim of this study was to determine the clean and healthy living
behavior of farmers in Tenggir Village. This research includes quantitative research
using a simple random sampling with 83 respondents. The results of the research on
clean and healthy living behavior on farmers, there were 81 respondents (98%) having a
good knowledge, 73 respondents (88%) having a positive attitude, and 50 respondents
(60%) action of PHBS with sufficient category. Knowledge mostly categorized as good
because the respondents age includes a mature of age in making decisions and has a high
level of education. The attitude was categorized as positive because their belief in health
behavior affects their daily life according to the respondent’s statement. Respondent’s
actions were categorized as sufficient due to lack of awareness about previous clean and
healthy living behaviors and inadequate infrastructure. So, this research can be an
evaluation for health providers care to increase awareness and improve clean and
healthy living behavior.
