dc.description.abstract | The problem of garbage accumulation is crucial. In fact, waste can be said to be a cultural problem because its impact is affected on various sides of life, especially such as big cities. The method of processing plastic waste that has been widely developed today is the pyrolysis method. The material used is plastic waste from the types of Polyethylene terephthalate and Polypropylene. As much as 300 grams of material is inserted into a pyrolysis apparatus and heated with variations of 300 ° C, 350 ° C and 400 ° C and held at variations of time 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes. The result is measured the volume of oil produced. The results showed that PP plastic produced more oil at a temperature of 400 ° C and a time of 30 minutes. | en_US |
