Sinergisitas Pentahelix Dalam Proses Penanganan Bencana Erupsi Semeru Di Desa Penanggal, Lumajang

Abstract

As one of the countries traversed by the pacific circum, Indonesia has fertile land because there are so many volcanoes that strech across the archipelago. One of the active volcanoes that recenty erupted, namely Mount Semeru, is a located in Lumajang Regency, East Java. The avalanche of hot clouds (APG) of Semeru and several other materials released forced all residents living on the slopes of the Semeru to run for safety to a safer place. Contributions from all parties are needed to participate in helping residents who are victims of the Semeru eruption. The involvement of all elements according to their respective roles is teh called the framework pentahelix. Collective awareness of all parties involved in the synergy pentahelix generate a reflective thought in which they want to try to improve themselves (enabling) to a pressure (constrain) faced by the people living near Semeru. This research uses descriptive qualitative researxh with a narrative approach. The result show that there is a synergy of the five elements pentahelix consisting of the goverment, volunteer community, academia, the business world, and the media. This synergy is shown in the organization of he five elements in accordance with their respective capacities inthe disaster management emergency resonse process
