Hubungan Tingkat Stres Perawat Ruang Isolasi COVID-19 dengan Perilaku Caring di Rumah Sakit Kabupaten
Abstract
Stress is a physical, psychological, emotional and mental discomfort that causes
discruption of performance, so it decrease the daily productivity and services
someone. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between stress of caring
behavior. The design of this study used correlational analytic with a cross sectional.
Data collection techniques used total sampling with 43 respondents met the
inclusion criteria. The questionnaire used to measure the level of stress was Covid
Stress Scale with 26 statements and the measurement of caring behavior using the
questionnaire Care Q (The Nurse Behavior Caring Study) with 36 statements. The
data analysis used the spearman rank correlation test. The results showed that the
median value of stress behavior was 51, with a minimum value of 12 and a
maximum value of 88 and leads to near the maximum value. The median value of
caring behavior was 95, with a minimum value of 48 and a maximum value of 121
and leads to near the maximum value. There was a correlation between stress level
of caring behavior (p=<0.027 and r = -0.338) with a low negative correlation
between the two variables. This showed that the higher the stress level, the less
caring behavior given and shown. This study suggest nurses are expected to
manage their stress so nurses can deliver their caring behavior optimally.
