Gambaran Pengetahuan Perawat Praktik Mandiri Tentang Kewenangan Perawat
Abstract
Nurses as professionals are required to master science where currently nursing
services do not only exist in health facilities but are independent practice. Lack of
knowledge, especially about authority, will cause problems. One of the effects of
the lack of knowledge of nurses on their authority is the phenomenon of "gray
area". This study aims to describe the knowledge of nurses who open independent
practice about their authority in the work area of Jember Regency. The design of
this research is descriptive quantitative with 72 respondent using purposive
sampling technique. This questionnaire uses a nurse characteristic sheet and a
questionnaire about the description of nurses' knowledge. The majority of
research respondents are male. Most of the respondents' last education level was
a nurse profession, with an average length of work in health services 12.93 years
and an average length of time in independent practice 10.06 years. The results
showed that the independent practice nurse's knowledge of authority had a
minimum value of 11 and a maximum value of 21 with the highest knowledge
being indicators of public health nursing care providers, extension workers and
counselors for clients, and implementing tasks based on delegation of authority.
