dc.description.abstractThe definition of insurance according to Article 1 Number (1) of Law Number 40 of 2014 concerning Insurance is an agreement between two parties, namely the insurance company and the policy holder, which is the basis for receiving premiums by the insurance company in return for providing reimbursement to the insured or policy holder because loss, damage, costs incurred, lost profits, or legal liability to third parties that may be suffered by the insured or the policyholder due to the occurrence of an uncertain event. The Financial Services Authority according to Article 1 number (1) of the OJK Law Number 21 of 2011 is an independent institution and is free from interference from other parties, which has the functions, duties, and authorities of regulation, supervision, examination, and investigation as referred to in the Act. this.
