dc.description.abstractPuppet craft studies have been around for a long time in the village of Dukuh Dempok, Wuluhan District, Jember Regency. The leather puppet craft home industry is a medium-sized micro business in Jember Regency. There are three home industries from 1995 to 2018 in Dukuh Dempok village, namely the home industry that was founded by Eko, Robby's home industry, and the Happy home industry. The method used in this research is historical research where the steps are heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The theory used in this study is the modernization theory written by J.W Schoorl and the approach taken is socio-economic concept analysis which is the implication of sociology for complex activities regarding production, distribution, trade, consumption patterns of goods and services.en_US
