Abstract

Background: The prevalence o f relapse on /he orthodontics posl-lreotmenl is still quite high.even ofter the polienls hove finished using retainer. Therelore.occuronce of relapse in orthodontic treatment must be prevented correctly. Objective· This study was aimed to exp/ore /he e(lecl of Na lrium Fluoridetreotmenl in gingivol sulcus lo RANKL expression of /he pressure oreo in olveolor bone. M ethods: This study wos exp erimenlo/ laborol0ry. Animal models wos/6 wislor ro/s divided into 4 goups. Group 1 (Kl/: rots were given arfhodonlic tooth movement without addition 11 .75 ppm of Nolrium Fluoride for 7 days . Group 2 (Pl/: rots were given orthodontic tooth movement and addition 11.75 ppm of Nofrium Fluoride for 7 days .Group 3 (K2/: rats were given arlhodanlic loath movement without addition I /.75 ppm of Notn·um Fluoride for 14 days. Group 4 (P2/: rots were given orthodontic loath movement and addition 11 .75 ppm of Nofrium Fluoride for 14 days .Res ults and Conclusions: Addition Nofrium Fluoride in gingivof su/cus redvced /he e xpression of RANKL which was re/lee le d by the reduc lion of resorblion ,n p ressure area of alveolar bone.
