Pengaruh Permainan Paspor Petualangan Terhadap Kedisiplinan Anak Kelompok A TK Arni Jember

Abstract

Children's discipline is an important part of fostering a sense of responsibility, respect, self-control over behavior, and fostering a sense of caring. This study aims to determine the effect of the adventure passport game on the discipline of children in group A of Arni Jember Kindergarten. The background of this study is based on the lack of discipline of children, such as not tidying up toys, not waiting for their turn to wash their hands and not arriving on time to school. Adventure passport was chosen as an innovative and fun learning method to teach the values of discipline. The type of research used is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was children in group A of Arni Jember Kindergarten and sampling for the experimental group and the control group used a random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation using a discipline assessment instrument. Data were analyzed using statistical tests to determine differences before and after treatment. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the use of the adventure passport game on children's discipline. Children in the experimental group showed a higher increase compared to the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that the adventure passport game has an effect on improving the discipline of children in group A of Arni Jember Kindergarten.
