Abstract
The implementation of curriculum changes has presented several
challenges, particularly in the teaching of Pancasila Education. Among these
challenges are students' lack of understanding of the taught materials, the use of
monotonous and less varied approaches and methods in delivering the content,
and teachers' insufficient ability to connect the learning materials with real-life
situations. The objective of this research is to determine the influence of the
Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on the learning outcomes of
Pancasila Education, specifically on the topics of constitution and societal norms
among fourth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 01 Jember. The research design
employed in this study is quasi-experimental, and the data collection method
involves pre-tests and post-tests as student learning assessments. The t-test
calculation using the independent sample t-test with the assistance of IBM SPSS
25 indicates that the t-count is greater than the critical t-table (5.341 > 1.675).
The relative effectiveness test results show an effectiveness level of 58%,
categorized as moderately effective. Based on the findings, it can be concluded
that the CTL approach has an impact on the learning outcomes of Pancasila
Education, specifically on the topics of constitution and societal norms among
fourth-grade students at SDN Sumbersari 01 Jember.
