Pengaruh Model Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Kemampuan Kolaborasi dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas IV

Abstract

Entering the 21st century, learning requires students to have good collaboration skills and optimal learning outcomes. However, based on observations at SDN Tegal Besar 03 Jember, student collaboration skills and learning outcomes remain low. Furthermore, student engagement in group activities is suboptimal due to uneven student participation. This study aims to determine the effect of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on collaboration skills and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. The research method used is quantitative research with an experimental type. The design used in this study is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Data analysis techniques used the t-test (independent sample t-test) with SPSS version 25. The results showed that there was an effect of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on students’ collaboration skills and learning outcomes. This is indicated by the Significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The average posttest score of collaboration skills in the experimental class was 82.02, higher than the control class at 64.60. In addition, the average posttest score of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 81.18, higher than the control class at 69.51. Thus, it can be concluded that the jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant effect on collaboration skills and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students.
