Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of learning media that support learning
activities and students are less active and less interested in learning activities. The
purpose of this study is to explain the process of developing quartet card learning
media and determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of quartet card
learning media for community economic activity materials. This development
research uses the Borg and Gall model research design which consists of 10 stages,
but the one used in this study is only up to the eighth stage. The subjects of this
study are students of classes V A and V B at SDN 1 Kedungringin Banyuwangi
Regency. The collection methods used are observation, interviews, student response
questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The development of
learning media produces valid, effective, and practical products. The validation of
the quartet card learning media was obtained from the results of the validation of
three validators with a score of 93.05. The effectiveness of the quartet card learning
media was obtained from the results of the learning test of students in the
experimental class and the control class which obtained an effectiveness result of
50.5%. The practicality of the quartet card learning media was obtained from the
results of the student response questionnaire with a score of 94.87%. Based on the
results presented, it can be concluded that the quartet card learning media meets
the criteria of validity, effectiveness, and practicality to be used in learning
activities
