Abstract
This research aim to developed the game “Math Treasure” with RPG Maker MV
to improved students' ICT literacy on number patterns. The development model
used in this research is the 4-D model. It consists of the following stages: define,
design, develop, and disseminate. The analysis of validity, practicality, and
effectiveness is the data analysis method used in this study. The subjects of this
study were 22 students of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sumberjambe. The
results showed that the educational game was declared valid in the very height
category with a coefficient of 0.87. This educational game also declared practical
with a percentage of 84%, including in the high category. The effectiveness of
educational games based on the percentage of students who achieve scores above
the KKM or classified as complete, as well as the n-gain value of the pre-test and
post-test results of students, including in the medium category which reaches 0.5.
In addition, these results prove that educational games are effective in improving
ICT literacy, included in the high category with an n-gain value of 0.87.
