Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries experiencing accelerated infrastructure development. Therefore, currently, infrastructure construction using the latest technology, namely Building Information Modeling (BIM), is required. The project work calculation for the Dean's Office Building of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Jember University is still performed using conventional methods. To minimize errors, the author will implement the latest technology by utilizing BIM, which is expected to assist the construction process to be completed quickly, accurately, and precisely. This research aims to determine the results of clash detection in structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works, to find out the quantity take-off (QTO) calculations, and to estimate the Cost Plan (RAB). The method used involves modeling the structural, architectural, and MEP works using BIM-supported software, which will produce outputs such as clash detection, QTO calculations, and subsequently, the RAB based on the QTO results. The planning results showed a clash detection of 13 items, while for the MEP works, there were zero clashes. The QTO calculations indicated 211,5 m³ of concrete for the lower structure, 264,858 m³ for the upper structure, 99439,275 kg of reinforcement, 5102,50 kg for the roof framework, 4005,54 m² of wall work, 95 units of doors and windows, 888 m² for floor and ceiling tiles, 299 lighting units, 401,68 meters of piping for plumbing, and 46 units of sanitary fixtures. The total estimated cost (RAB) is Rp 2.921.594.795 (Two billion nine hundred twenty-one million five hundred ninety-four thousand seven hundred ninety-five Rupiah).
