Abstract

learning outcomes through differentiated learning in science material. The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in science subjects in class IV students at SDN Sumbesari 03 Jember, to find out other factors related to student learning outcomes, and can be used as a basis for consideration of further research regarding differentiated learning. This research is correlational research with quantitative data processing methods. Research instruments include observations, interview sheets, learning motivation questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used was a validity test using the Valpro formula which obtained very decent results from both validations. The reliability test using the Cronbach's Alpha technique obtained a result of 0.842104 indicating high reliability. The correlation coefficient test of 0.959 shows a value that is greater than the r table, namely 0.381. This means that learning motivation shows a significant relationship with learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination obtains the calculation results in the form of learning motivation contributing 91% to learning outcomes. The results of this research are in accordance with theoretical studies and relevant research, namely that in order to obtain good and satisfactory science learning results in differentiated learning carried out by teachers in the classroom, learning motivation is needed. Motivation to learn has an important role. The conclusion in this research is that learning motivation has a significant relationship with the science and science learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Sumbersari 03 Jember.
