Abstract
Education fundamentally consists of two main elements: teachers and students. The
use of learning media is one way that teachers can introduce innovation into their
teaching processes. The purpose of this study was to describe the validity,
effectiveness, and practicality of developing the Jumanji board game as a learning
media for Pancasila Education unit 3 materials, based on local wisdom in Jember
Regency, for grade IV students. The procedure in this study employed the
development research method using the Borg and Gall model, which consists of ten
stages. However, this research process only covered up to the eighth step, namely
the product effectiveness trial. The subjects of this study were grade IVA and IVB
students at SDN Gebang 03 Jember. Data collection methods included observation,
interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the independent sample t-test
showed a t-value of 2.010, which is greater than the ttable value of 1.677. This
indicates that the t-count value is greater than the ttable value. The results of the
relative effectiveness test yielded a score of 76%, which falls into the high category
and indicates that the intervention is effective in improving student learning
outcomes. The practicality test results showed a value of 80.4, placing it in the
practical category. In conclusion, the Jumanji board game learning media can be
effectively used in the learning process and is easy for both teachers and students
to utilize.
