dc.description.abstractCoronary Heart Disease (CHD) is one of Cardiovascular Disease that caused the most of mortality in the world. Socioeconomic differentials have been consistently associated with the risk factor, prevalence and mortality of CHD. The prevalence of CHD in Bondowoso 2013 increased by 0,75 of 1.000 population. Socioeconomic factors such as income and levels of education will affect lifestyle and diet. Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus are CHD risk factors associated with lifestyle and diet. The purpose of this study is to know the description and correlation between socioeconomic, risk factor of CHD and prevalence of CHD in Bondowoso 2013. This study uses ecological study and correlation analysis. The unit of analysis in this study are the sub districtic in Bondowoso. The result of this study indicate that there was no significant between sosioeconomic factors and prevalence of CHD. Risk factor such as hypertension and DM showed significant relationship with prevalence of CHD. Suggesting to the health offices to improving early detection programs in high risk areas and establishing groups of people who care about the health of heart.en_US
