Abstract

Textbooks used by teachers are less effective in learning activities because students do not play an active role in learning activities and students still have difficulties in understanding the materials of polyhedron. Contextual mathematics learning can make it easier for students to understand the material being studied. Therefore, etnomatematics-based learning materials are needed that can help students. The purpose of this research is to produce ethnomatematics-based LKPD in Jember that meets valid, practical, and effective criteria. This research uses a 4D development model with four stages which include define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects used consisted of 27 students of class VIII-G SMP Nuris Jember. This research uses three test methods to determine the feasibility of the LKPD developed, which includes validity, practically, and effectiveness test. The validity test is carried out by analyzing the results of the validation questionnaire by three validators. The practicality test is carried out by analyzing the results of student response questionnaire. The effectiveness test is carried out by analyzing the results of working on learning outcome test questions. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the average score of LKPD validity is 3,74, the average score of practicality is 3,398 with percentage of 84,95%, and the percentage of completeness of students is 81,48%. According to the results of the analysis, the ethnomatematicsbased LKPD developed can be declared to meet valid, practical, and effective criteria for use in learning activities.
