Abstract
Low motivation and interest of students is a problem that can reduce student learning outcomes. Increasing motivation and interest in learning can be done by using creative and innovative learning media so that it can raise the enthusiasm and learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to develop educational snakes and ladders learning media based on Jember local wisdom that is valid, effective, and practical in the Pancasila Education subject chapter 4 for grade II students of SDN Kebonsari 4. The design of this study used the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection methods used were interviews, observations, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the validity test of the educational snakes and ladders learning media based on Jember local wisdom on media experts were 95.56, language experts were 90, and material experts were 100 so that it was categorized as very feasible to use. The independent sample t test showed that t count was greater than the t table value (6.5>1.672) and the relative effectiveness test obtained a value of 59.6, so the educational snakes and ladders learning media based on Jember local wisdom was in the moderate effectiveness category. The results of the practicality value obtained from the student questionnaire were 92.5, while the results of the practicality value obtained from the observer were 93.5 so that it was categorized as very practical. The conclusion is that this study produces a product, namely educational snake and ladder learning media based on Jember local wisdom which has been tested for validity, effectiveness and practicality so that it is suitable for use in the learning process.
