dc.description.abstractHydroponic cultivation of the more popular. This is due to the shift of the function of agricultural land into industrial areas to the limited agricultural land. One of the starting vegetable plants to be cultivated in hydroponic ogled is Pakchoi (Brassica chinensis L.). One method used in hydroponic irrigation system is the nutrient film technique (NFT). But still need to be carried out assessment of NFT between long streams and flow rates. It is necessary for designing the technical specifications in construction NFT. This study aims to determine the effect of flow time and flow rate on plant growth Pakchoi by the method of nutrient film technique (NFT). The data analyzed is the length of the root, stem height and number of leaves. This research used randomized block design with ANOVA analysis. The results showed that the variation of discharge significantly influenced the growth of stem height and number of leaves. At discharge 1.4 l / minute show tangible results for the growth of stem height and number of leaves. While the variation of the old stream only significantly affect the number of leaves. The average number of leaves on a long stream of 24 hours showed more numerous . en_US
