Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic fluoroquinolone antimicrobial agent that act through the inhibition of DNA-gyrase, a critical enzyme to bacterial chromosome replication. Ciprofloxacin exhibits broad spectrum antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative and it is used in the treatment of a wide range for infectious disease of the urinary, respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts, as well as in skin structure and ocular infections but it can cause resistance when used for long term. In this study, we have developed method of analysis Ciprofloxacin’s level on tablets dosage forms by Near-Infrared viii 2 calibration is 0.9906817; R internal validation is 0.9892007; RMSEC is 0,6340431 and RMSECV is 0,683898. Cross validation of those model also gave good score which is the R of LOOCV is 0,9950923 and R 2 of test set is 0,9902357. LDA gave accuracy 100%. The significance of Ciprofloxacin’s level that have been measured by NIR and UV-Vis spectrofotometry was evaluated with Paired Samples T-Test. In conclusion, ciprofloxacin’s level that have been measured with both methods gave no meaningful difference which is the significance level is 0,249en_US
