Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Website Berbantuan Google Sites (Pada Materi Permintaan dan Penawaran Uang untuk Peserta Didik Kelas XI SMAN 2 Jember)

Abstract

This research aims to develop a website-based learning media using Google Sites on the topic of money demand and supply and to determine the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of the developed media. This research was conducted on 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Jember. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analyze, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation. A limited trial was conducted on 9 students of class XI.5 to determine the attractiveness of the media, while a wide trial was conducted on 28 students of class XI.11 to measure the effectiveness of the learning media. The results showed that the developed media achieved a feasibility score of 75% from the material expert (categorized as feasible) and 95% from the media expert (categorized as very feasible). Students’ responses indicated an attractiveness score of 83.8% (very attractive category). Meanwhile, the effectiveness level measured using the N-Gain score was 58.5%, which falls into the moderately effective category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the website-based learning media using Google Sites is feasible, very attractive, and sufficiently effective to be used as an alternative learning media to improve students’ understanding.
