Asuhan Keperawatan Hipertermia (Demam) dengan Terapi Tepid Water Sponge di RSUD dr. R. Soedarsono Kota Pasuruan

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Demam merupakan peningkatan suhu tubuh di atas normal yang dapat menyebabkan hipertermia dan memerlukan penanganan yang tepat. Tujuan: penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas terapi Tepid Water Sponge dalam menurunkan suhu tubuh pada pasien hipertermia. Metode: yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan pada satu pasien di RSUD dr. R. Soedarsono Kota Pasuruan. Hasil: menunjukkan adanya penurunan suhu tubuh secara bertahap serta perbaikan kondisi pasien setelah intervensi. Kesimpulan: terapi Tepid Water Sponge efektif sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis dalam menurunkan suhu tubuh pada pasien hipertermia.

ABSTRACT Background: Fever is an increase in body temperature above normal limits that may lead to hyperthermia and requires proper management. The objective: of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Tepid Water Sponge therapy in reducing body temperature in hyperthermic patients. The method: used was a case study with a nursing care approach on one patient at RSUD dr. R. Soedarsono, Pasuruan City. The results: showed a gradual decrease in body temperature and improvement in the patient’s condition after the intervention. In conclusion,: Tepid Water Sponge therapy is effective as a non-pharmacological intervention to reduce body temperature in hyperthermia patients.
