Abstract
Development the banking sector plays an important role in supporting a country's economic system. In carrying out its main functions of channeling credit, collecting funds from the public, and providing other financial services, each bank strives to increase its corporate value as a representation of its economic strength and competitiveness to understand the dynamics of corporate value in the banking sector, it is important to identify various factors that can influence it. Internal factors include profitability, capital structure (CAR), liquidity, company growth, and dividend policy. This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), profitability, and inflation on the corporate value of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method. The research population includes all conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2021-2024, with samples selected using purposive sampling based on the criteria of data availability and consistency of financial reports during the observation period. The data used are financial ratios, company value, and macroeconomic data obtained from company financial reports and other official sources. The results of the study indicate that CAR and profitability have a positive and significant effect on company value, while inflation has a negative effect on company value. These findings indicate that internal banking performance and macroeconomic conditions play an important role in determining company value, so that they can be used as a basis for consideration by management and investors in making strategic decisions.
