Analisis Pemberian Kompensasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Eratex Djaja Tbk Probolinggo
Abstract
This research was conducted at PT Eratex Djaja Tbk Probolinggo. The problems
that occur based on data obtained from the company and the results of interviews
with the General Manager of the company suspect differences in the overtime
incentive system between office and production employees, and the delay in giving
salaries by the company to employees as the cause of the problem, causing
production results at PT Eratex Djaja Tbk Probolinggo in 2020-2022 to fluctuate.
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee
performance. This research is an explanatory or explanatory research with a
quantitative approach. The population in this study, namely all employees of PT
Eratex Djaja Tbk Probolinggo, which amounted to the study involved all
employees of PT Eratex Djaja Tbk Probolinggo, totaling 6,380 employees. The
sample in this study was 98 employees using the simple random sampling method
with the application of the Slovin formula. The analysis technique applied is
simple linear regression analysis, and the measurement of relevant variables
using a Likert scale. The results of the analysis of the research show that
compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance.
