Komparasi NDVI dan ARVI Citra Sentinel 2 dalam Estimasi Produktivitas Padi Organik (Studi Kasus: Lahan Pertanian GAPOKTAN Mahameru Kecamatan Candipuro, Kabupaten Lumajang)
Abstract
The absence of remote sensing technology in calculating the estimation of organic
paddy production hinders the effective utilization of organic paddy fields in
Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency. This study aims to apply and determine the
suitability of remote sensing technology, specifically using Sentinel-2 satellite
imagery, along with the transformation of the NDVI (Normalized Difference
Vegetation Index) and ARVI (Atmospherically Resistant Vegetation Index) indices
to calculate the estimated organic paddy production in Candipuro District,
Lumajang Regency. The research included land survey activities in areas identified
as having high production during two harvest periods. The methodology
encompassed collecting and recording harvest data for two periods, capturing
Sentinel-2 images, processing data, and assessing accuracy. Harvest data were
gathered through field surveys conducted at the field and the local agricultural
department. Satellite imageries were obtained through the
https://scihub.copernicus.eu/ page. Data processing was performed using ArcGIS
10.3 software, and accuracy testing was conducted using the Root Mean Square
Error (RMSE) equation. The results of the accuracy test indicate that the estimation
of organic paddy production in Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency, can be
successfully carried out using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, as evidenced by the
obtained good results.
