Analisis Faktor Sosiodemografi terhadap Pengetahuan Terkait Nyeri pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan

Abstract

Background: Pain is one of the most common health problems experienced by patients and remains a primary focus of nursing practice. Adequate pain-related knowledge is essential for nursing students to provide effective nursing care. However, their level of knowledge may be influenced by sociodemographic factors. Objective: To analyze the relationship between sociodemographic factors and pain-related knowledge among nursing students at the Faculty of Nursing, Jember University. Methods: This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design involving 193 nursing students selected using proportionate stratified sampling followed by systematic random sampling. Data were collected using a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Indonesian version of the Knowledge and Attitudes Survey Regarding Pain (KASRP), which has demonstrated good construct validity and excellent item reliability (0.99) based on Rasch model analysis.
