Pemodelan Kualitas Air Sungai Mayang Kabupaten Jember Menggunakan Metode Spatial Linear Regression (Ruas Kecamatan Mayang - Kecamatan Mumbulsari)
Abstract
Mayang River in Jember Regency has a strategic role as a water source for agriculture and community life, providing irrigation for 79 areas with a total area of 16,471 ha. Utilization of rivers from Mayang to Mumbulsari District includes various activities that produce waste, potentially reducing river water quality. This research uses the Spatial Linear Regression method to model the water quality of the Mayang River which refers to quality standards according to Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. The research results show the distribution of water quality at 12 measurement points, with 71.7% meeting class I quality standards, 14% class II, and 14.3% class III. Specifically, water quality is in class I in streams M.2 to M.7 which are at kilometers 0.66 to 8.50 as far as 7.84 km, class II in M.1 which is at kilometers 0 to 0.65 as far as 0.65 Km and M.8 kilometers 8.51 to 9.36 as far as 0.85 Km, as well as class III on the M.9 to M.12 flow at kilometers 9.37 to 10.94 as far as 1.57 Km. This modeling aims to monitor and control the environmental impact of human activities around the Mayang River, maintaining the sustainability of the river ecosystem and community welfare.
