Pengembangan E-book Materi Indonesiaku Kaya Alamnya untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bernalar Kritis Siswa Kelas V di SDN Jember Kidul 04

Abstract

This research is motivated by the critical reasoning ability of students who are still in the guidance stage. This is indicated by only 9 out of 28 students who achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) of 75. In addition, the teaching materials used are still general, incomplete, and practice questions that encourage students to reason critically are still lacking. The purpose of this study is to determine the development process and the level of validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the e-book product of the material My Indonesia is rich in nature. This study uses the Research and Development type with the Borg and Gall model which is implemented up to the eighth stage. Data collection methods in this study are interviews, questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results show that the developed e-book obtained a validity score of 96.4 with a very feasible category, an average N-Gain score of 0.71 with a high category, and an effectiveness level obtained an average N-Gain of 71.76 with a fairly effective category, and a practicality score of 93 with a very practical category. Based on these results, the e-book material "Indonesiaku is rich in nature" to improve the critical reasoning skills of fifth grade students at SDN Jember Kidul 04 is declared valid, effective, and practical for use in learning Natural and Social Sciences for fifth grade students.
