dc.description.abstractOccupational Health and Safety (K3) is a program created by workers and employers as an effort to prevent accidents and occupational diseases by recognizing things that have the potential to cause work-related accidents and diseases as well as anticipatory actions in the event of accidents or occupational diseases. The purpose of making K3 is to reduce company costs in the event of an accident or work-related illness. The progress of an industry can be seen from the productivity produced as well as labor efficiency. PT. Mitratani Dua Tujuh (PT. M27) is a national private company engaged in the business of processing agricultural products with frozen edamame which is one of its main products. The purpose of this study is to minimize the possibility of work accidents by identifying hazards using Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) and evaluating the occurrence of failures or potential workplace accidents using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The application of the FMEA method to evaluate the potential for work accidents is expected to suppress or avoid the possibility of work accidents in the frozen edamame production process. The results of this study obtained 11 risks of work accidents in the frozen edamame production process from the initial process, namely the receipt of raw materials to the packaging process. Based on the analysis results obtained through the questionnaire and the RPN calculations that have been carried out, the potential for work accidents that get the highest RPN value is work accidents in the form of being crushed by goods with an RPN value of 27,377 and and being hit by each other with an RPN value of 20,480.en_US
