Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of industries, labor, and investment on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of regencies and municipalities in East Java Province during the period 2018–2023. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis employing the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and other relevant institutions. The results show that the number of industries does not have a significant effect on GRDP in East Java. Meanwhile, labor and investment have a significant effect on GRDP in East Java. Simultaneously, the number of industries, labor, and investment significantly affect the GRDP of regencies and municipalities in East Java Province. These findings indicate that labor and investment are the most influential factors in promoting regional economic growth during the study period.
