Abstract

The discussion of the thesis focuses on the offects of Maule's curse to the Pyneheon's family and to the House of the Seven Gables. The goals of the study in this thesis are to know about the effects of Maule's curse to the Pyncheon's family, to know about the effects of Maule's curse to the House of the Seven Gables and it is hoped that there will be a clear understanding about the gothic novel entitled the House of the Seven Gables.
