ANALISIS KEGAGALAN DAN OPTIMASI SISTEM PROTEKSI PETIR DENGAN METODE SUDUT PERLINDUNGAN DAN BOLA BERGULIR ( STUDI KASUS GEDUNG UPT-TI UNIVERSITAS JEMBER )
Abstract
Along with the rapid population growth in Indonesia that led to narrowness of the land, so
development in Indonesia tend to rise, so that with the construction of the buildings on
building security issues become important to note, because the buildings more vulnerable
to disruption, either mechanical disruption or natural disturbances. One of the frequent
natural disturbances are exposed to lightning strikes, to overcome this, you need to do is to
provide better protection of buildings from outdoors or indoors or lightning protection
system (SPP). Method protected corner and the ball rolling is a method that can provide
external protection by placing proper finial, so that will be obtained from this method of
protection right corner. From the results of the research in-house UPT-TI was still there
and the tower side of the building that is not protected, it is due to improper placement of
the finial and the absence finial attached to a second building, while the internal protection
