dc.description.abstractElectrical energy as one of the relevant infrastructure to the needs of the people, so it’s very important in our life. Distribution of electrical energy must be able to guarantee in an amount sufficient, good quality and reasonable price. Mayang feeder is subdivison of PT PLN (Persero) Area Jember. The growth of electrical power loads in Mayang feeder increase each years. Therefore, it needs forecasting load growth for 2013 – 2017 period using the backpropagation method. Growth load (kVA) will be simulated using ETAP software 7.0.0. For anticipation of this growth the development of distribution planning. The development of distribution transformers and enlarge the diameter of the conductor are the way to development of distribution networks in Mayang feeder period 2013 - 2017. After the development of distribution, the result of voltage drop can be decrease. The largest voltage drop results in 2017 amounted to 5.41 %.en_US
