PT PLN (Persero) Area Jember is a company that deal with all aspects of
electricity and services in Jember. PT PLN (Persero) Area Jember in the
electricity business aims to ensure the electrical power in sufficient quantity, good
quality and reasonable price to improve the welfare and prosperity of the people
in a fair and equitable and encourage increased economic activity. To achieve
these objectives, the quality of human resource management that there is need to
improve professionalism in the form of repairs and meet the demands of an
increasingly competitive market. PT PLN (Persero) should do all it can to
improve the quality of their performance so as to compete and be a business entity
that can serve the needs of society in the field of electricity services.
This research use explanatory research as the research design and method.
The population of this research is all employees at PT PLN (Persero) Jember area
totaling 65 people and sample in this research is the entire population or by using
a census. The analytical tool used in this research is path analysis.
The results of this study show that emotional intelligence is positive and
significant impact on job satisfaction, personality positive and significant impact
on job satisfaction, emotional intelligence positive and significant effect on
employee performance, personality positive and significant effect on employee
performance, job satisfaction positive and significant impact on the performance
of employees at PT PLN (Persero) Area Jember.
